Off the Grid, 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. on Waller at Stanyan Off the Grid is San Francisco’s roaming mobile food extravaganza. Up to 10 food carts and trucks will pull up to Waller street at Stanyan and serve up some of the city’s best bites. Korean tacos, Indian curry, lumpia, Chinese buns and crème brulee are just some of the offerings that you’ll find. Along with the amazing selection of food, local musicians will be providing music to add to the ambiance.

Community Meeting for Development of 919 Cole St, 6 p.m. – 7 p.m. at 919 Cole St. The SF Planning Departtment invites neighbors to attend a pre-application meeting in order to review and discuss the development proposal for the opening of a Peet's Coffee and Tea establishment at 919 Cole Street. Mt. Sutro Habitat,Trail Stewardship, 9:00 a.m. – 12:30 at Mt. Sutro Open Space Reserve (100 Medical Cntr Way, Woods lot). Rain or shine – high wind cancels event. Join the Sutro Stewards for some rewarding trail stewardship. We'll be addressing maintenance and technical improvements on our trail network. Work is followed by food and beverages at a social gathering at 12:30. For details go to www.sutrostewards.org

Even if you can only work an hour, please join your neighbors in sprucing up this key community green space under the supervision of Recreation and Parks gardener Joe Chmielewski. Be sure to bring gloves and dress in layers. For more information contact Susan Strolis.
